Friday Fun Facts!

I thought it would be fun to go through and see what everyone thinks about their week. Some fun facts about how the week went!

Here are some things that went on in our world..

* Started School this week - yup back to school. We put on our +Pediped footwear and worked it this week with smiles!

* We got invited to the media night of +Knott's Berry Farm #ScaryFarm ! This is exciting since my husband and I are both fans of it and have not gone in a few years. I am most looking forward to the Special Ops, skeleton key rooms and my girl Elvira!!! Love her.

* AYSO soccer starts this week. With #AYSO it is all volunteer so I am offering my services of a good involved parent as team mom. Watch yourself. I am OCD and here we goooo. 

* I was invited to a dinner hosted by @MaroWoodGrill in Laguna Beach and +GigaSavvy ! Can not even explain how exciting this is. Love meeting new amazingly smart and friendly people and chatting with my friends I miss so much!

* It was my birthday this week - It was low key, full of family and I loved it. 

* I was sent the Invite for the +IrvineParkRailroad Pumpkin Patch fun and I can not wait to run my giveaway to share the fun with other families! Best Park ever!

* My friend of over 15 years found out  she has been and is being cheated on by her husband of over 20 years. They are highschool sweethearts, or so SHE thought. This week I have learned that anyone can be mean, hurtful and just low, even those you don't expect it from, I have also learned that a woman who was totally manipulated and held back from speaking her mind can stand up for herself, be strong one day at a time and in a week show that SHE wants her life back! So proud of my sister friend that I was honored she leaned on me this week, let me cry with her, laugh with her and most of all comfort her. Bless this woman and her kids. I know shes got a tough road ahead of her but i also know that SHE'S GOT THIS!

* It's almost Friday and I am tired but I am so happy that I have my family, friends and most of all my knowledge of self worth. I am grateful for the person I am and for those who love me as I am. I am proud to be a friend, a sister a mother and most of all a woman with an open and kind heart. I am one that is nice but my niceness should never be taken for weakness... that it is NOT. 

This week brought a lot of laughs, tears, reminded me to have a humble attitude and feel I blessed with the strength to get through it. Soooooo....

Taste Of Laguna September 23rd

Have you been to the Taste of Laguna?

I have not and Hope to attend this year, but if you HAVE been, you know that this event is a true taste of SoCal food and life. The foodie in me can not wait while the OC native in me is proud to know that this is the city my grandparents chose to start their lives as immigrants. They started Husky Boy Burgers. The original at the top of the 1000 steps beach. 

I have a soft spot for Laguna Beach and all the beautiful reasons why its my favorite lead back to family. 

I am looking forward to the Taste of Laguna and know that the Chamber of Commerce puts a lot of efforts into the community for those visiting and living daily life there.

The Event will be held on Wednesday September 23, 2015 from 5:30pm to 9pm. 

This celebration of food and spirits is said to be one of the most beautiful seaside settings. I know it is. I can not wait to see what the taste has to offer to match the beautiful surroundings. 

With world-renowned chefs offering a glimpse into fine Laguna Beach Dining, everyone is sure to be please with the savory bites of delightfulness. 

With samples of fresh fish, grilled meats to sweet desserts being brought together at Tivioli Too, this will be a magical evening for tastes and greets. With music and an amazing setting the event will be one not to be missed.

STAX Cookie Cravings **GIVEAWAY**

A few weeks ago I had the privilege to attend a tasting at Stax Cookie Bar.

To say it was good would be such an understatement.  I'd go along with amazingly yummy. 

From the gluten free, to the variety of cookies and then some, everything from the cookies to the ice cream is made fresh with the best quality ingredients.

I could not get enough of the ice cream sandwich and then I tried the Salted Caramel Iced Coffee! What?! Wow, I'd love to take a pitcher of that home weekly.

I ended up quenching with a Thai tea and it too was super tasty and refreshing.

There are so ma n y flavors if both cookie and ice cream it's hard to choose what to combine and top off with.

I love that the baker was there. (they are almost 24hr but thats for the early baking) He was awesome. So dedicated to making the freshest tastes he can.

This location makes over 20k cookies a week! That is insanity and I can totally see how that would happen. These are so tasty.

Did you know that they also cater and do parties!? I did not but now that I do I am super excited. That would be super cool to have an ice cream sandwich cookie bar and each one is under $3.00!

I am a huge supported of anyone who gives back... this year Stax will be doing a very cool fundraiser that is very profitable to those working with it. Taylor Swift At Staples Center

Taylor Swift At Staples Center was amazing!

My sister in law and I got to hang out for a super cool night of drinks and amazing musical performances by Taylor and her team!

It all started when my other sister in law and I daughter swapped. Her youngest for my oldest for a cruise to Ensenada. I jumped at the opportunity to have my baby girl experience such a fun time but the days they were gone fell on the same Friday that the Taylor Swift concert she was going to was on.... Only she didn't know she was going!

We decided to let her go on the cruise and I would take her tickets to Taylor Swift! I KNOW RIGHT! LUCKY ME! Grecia, my sister in law, and I were so excited to get to LA Live and have a few drinks. That we did and fun we had. 

+Coca-Cola handing out the best signature bottles of Coke!

We took a shot, had a beer and walked into the Staples Center to see the best concert ever!

Top 5 favorite moments of the show

* her...she is just phenomenal and beautiful on stage and in the show itself

* how humble her voice is when she speaks from her heart to her audience
* the crowd... interactive and happy to be there the crowd is what completely makes the show or breaks it with their involvement

* surprise guests are always fun and she loves to surprise her guests ...

* the flawless transition from speaking to song to story she's telling..the flawless flow of the show was so enjoyable and exciting that you can't believe it's over when it is.

Although I am so happy my daughter was able to go on a cruise and I was able to use her ticket.... TAYLOR SWIFT  is one performance and performer I really can not wait to take her to.

Our seats were up there but every seat in the house is a good one. We had a blast - really was the best over all performance I have seen in a long time. Sorry my baby bug had to miss it to go on a cruise, oh my, but I can not wait to take her to +Taylor Swift and enjoy a second show myself!

Thank you TAYLOR SWIFT for showing young and old that being cool means being who YOU are - and that kindness is amazing!

Keep Being an Inspiration to all girl. I would be fine with it if my daughter said she wanted to be just like you!
