Family Fun Supporting Reaching for the Cure - Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation 10K 5K 1K

Join the Support of Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation

Teamwork Makes the Dream Work and the Dream is to Cure Caner.

In 2007, while I was pregnant with my own daughter, my nephew was born with stage 4 glioblastoma multiforme" aka a super aggressive brain tumor cancer.

This is near and dear to my heart and I always support any and all charities and or fundraising efforts with cancer, pediatric cancer and the research to find a cure of.

George is now 11.5 and in remission since he was about 3 but has a long road ahead of him still. He is in a wheelchair and needs care full time. He lights up when he sees and hears family come into the room and knows how to give the tightest hugs filled with the emotions he is not verbally able to say.

We are grateful for the Doctors wisdom and for George being here today. He is our miracle and our humbling grace.

Denim & Diamonds Fashion Show To Benefit Global Genes for World RARE Disease Day

Denim & Diamonds Fashion Show To Benefit Global Genes

Celebrities Madison McLaughlin and Shaka Smith Join Models to Walk the Runway in Support of World RARE Disease Day - for Global Genes on February 28, 2017 at The Resort at Pelican Hill.

With out getting too emotional about this, I want to just say that I support the discovery of, research of and assistance towards RARE Diseases.

Having a close friend that I grew up with call me and tell me that her newborn has issues processing proteins and other things going on, opened my eyes a bit to a whole new world of things, things that a newborn had no way of getting through on her own.

CHOC Walk Teamwork Our Top 6 Reasons To Participate

CHOC Walk Success with Another year of 15k Walkers Raising Funds!

We did it!! My mini me and I, along with 15k others, joined up to Walk for CHOC!

It was a magical Sunday morning meeting up with some of our closest friends to support our favorite local Children's Hospital.

A few weeks ago I let you all know just how important CHOC is to our family.

Ready to Greet the morning!

You can read about my family bond to CHOC and the CHOC Walk here... and this past weekend participating in the walk once again was an emotion filled morning.

It's important that my kids understand empathy and appreciation. Not only for life but for those giving so much effort to help someone live.

I'm grateful to have spent this time one on one with my daughter, answering her questions about families, why they were walking and who they were there for. It's amazing to see an innocent heart open up to even more understanding of what it means to appreciate living, breathing and even walking...

5 Children in our family have bee cared for by CHOC - We Love you CHOC!

You know CHOC is near and dear to us, you know we love all things Disney but, I'd love to let you know our top 6 favs about the Walk, maybe you too will want to give back in your own way for next year!
