Knott's for the Cure
PC: Knott's Berry Farm
Going Pink for Breast Cancer awareness is not only just "Joe Cool" but it really hits home to a lot of us so it is just simply special!

We have had cancer in our family and we have had dear friends and family fight, win and lose against Breast Cancer. It is a tough fight for anyone and everyone that has to watch someone go through it.

We are blessed with a community that cares. Since Knott's always does their part to give back they are once again running their Knott's Pink promotion. You can get all the details HERE but here are some of the highlights:

* Now through March 18, Knott’s Berry Farm and Susan G. Komen Orange County are working together for the third year to raise money for breast cancer awareness, services and research by offering special “Pink Tickets” and commemorative Knott's for the Cure t-shirts.
* 75% of the funds raised for Susan G. Komen are used to provide local services throughout Orange County:
  • * Breast cancer detection and treatment education
  • * Information and support for breast cancer survivors and families
  • * Funding for free mammograms for uninsured and underserved women
* 25% of the funds raised for Susan G. Komen support national research to discover the cure for breast cancer.

* Special Merchandise is adorable too!

Irvine Park RR's Christmas Train Took Us To Santa!

Irvine Park RRhttp://www.irvineparkrailroad.com/ Christmas Train, a Family Tradition!

Each Season brings change and that goes the same with the seasonal events at Irvine Park RR. Each is special and unique!
Make time for all the fun to be had!
We were invited out to take the Christmas Train to the North Pole, and we had a blast.
Love to measure my babies every seasonal event at IPRR!
My daughter always has a lot of fun. Her favorites of the night:
* Seeing Santa and taking the Train there. She loves to see the lights in the trees, around the lake and in the tunnel.
* Listening to a special story with Mrs. Claus - she loves this every year! The Night Before Christmas was this years story and it was perfect.
Story Time with Mrs. Claus - always so special.
* Fishing in the Ice Fishing Game - She has the best time doing this. Maybe it is because she loves to go fishing with her dad.
* Getting Hot Chocolate and Popcorn at Santa's North Pole - the cookies are the best at the North Pole so get them while they last, but if you miss out the popcorn is fresh and warm.

Ice Fishing
My Son, is on the spectrum, he loved everything as well. He has his favorites too:
* Sitting in Santa's Sled - he just loved how big and bright it was and that he was allowed to sit in it for a while and as many times as he wanted to.

* Seeing Santa - Santa was very patient and kind. He let us get situated and re-situated with the kids and with out. The photographer was super sweet and took pics with both their professional camera and my phone.
The setting is perfectly set for the Big Man in Red to hear your wishes and give you a treat.
* Ice Fishing - this was perfect for sensory seeking kiddos. He was determined to fish out all of the fish from the ice hole and he sure did. Best part, everyone wins and walks away happy!

So many photo opportunities, we just can't pass those up... ever!

** Both of the kids had a blast with the Cookie Decorating! My boy was licking the frosting off and adding more on. Thanks for the patience Irvine Park RR Staff!

Oh, Are you still looking for your perfect Christmas Tree? Check out the huge selection of bright Christmas Trees at Irvine Park Rail Roads Christmas Tree Ranch! They have all sizes, shapes and are fresh and GREEN! +IrvineParkRailroad .

Ride the Train to Santa at Irvine Park RR! **GIVEAWAY**

Take a Train Ride to Santa aboard the +IrvineParkRailroad . !

It's the most wonderful time of the year! We just love the holidays and the traditions that come along with the season.

Our family has had a lot of traditions passed down over the years. A lot of them were started by my mom and dad over 40 years ago. These traditions are here to stay and I too pass them down now by doing them with my own family.

Since having my own first birthday at Irvine Park, my family has been returning for special events, BBQ's, family time and just the scenery for many years.

One of our most favorite times of year to visit the Irvine Park RR is Christmas time! The holidays always bring out the cool crisp air, fresh smells and the train to Santa!
