McDonald's SoCal Offers Free Back To School Breakfast September 13

Southern California McDonald’s Kicks Off the School Year with Free Breakfast for Students K-8th Grade

Hot off the Breakfast Press...

McDonald’s is helping kick-start your little pupil’s year with a wholesome breakfast.
On Tuesday, Sept. 13, participating restaurants will offer free breakfast from 6:30-9:30 a.m. to students* in kindergarten through eighth grade.

In Southern California, students can enjoy any breakfast muffin sandwich, apple slices or Yoplait Go-Gurt low-fat strawberry yogurt, and milk.

Glad they are offering healthier options to this off the menu too!

Students younger than 13 years of age are required to be accompanied by a parent/adult to redeem this offer at participating McDonald’s restaurants. Offer may vary throughout the state and only one breakfast is allowed per student.

“There are a lot of changes taking place at McDonald’s, but one thing that’s never changed is our commitment to the well-being of children,” said Paul Tulaphorn, McDonald’s owner/operator and president of the McDonald’s Operators’ Association of Southern California (MOASC). “We are proud to offer a great-tasting, free breakfast with fresh, healthy ingredients for the fifth year.”

Earlier this month, McDonald’s announced a number of changes across the menu as the company continues to evolve. One included removing artificial preservative from omelet-style eggs served on certain breakfast sandwiches.
