Tween Birthday Success at Tavern + Bowl - Plus #Giveaway

Happy Tween Birthday For the WIN - Tavern + Bowl in Costa Mesa Is Rockin'!

Have you ever been in that bind of what to do for your tweens birthday!  Yes... that was me this year!!!

Usually my kiddo loves her big family and all friends pool party but this year She asked for a few friends to go bowling. So of course I said yes!

Now to figure out where... we had not been to Tavern + Bowl with kids and it's got the coolest vibe. While we partnered together for an experience all thoughts and writings are my own.

Probably because it's an all time hot spot located at the Triangle in Coasts Mesa where the beach scene begins.

We decided on bowling and some eat. The girls loved it!!

The lanes are set up so that everyone can see one another and play with a friendly and fun competitive spin on things hehe.

The score screen gives you option on game play so that the bowling is interactive to the mode played! The girls really liked how they could customize each part of the game play. So fun!

Two lanes for 6 girls and a few adults with plenty of space and room for everyone.

The lanes are bright and light during the day so the girls had a lot of fun napping some pics and chatting while they were competing in a friendly game or 4...

Food.. okay so you know I love to talk, eat and share foodie options.. so here goes..

Variety is amazing... but what I thought was even more cool - their ability to cook everything on site and keep it food allergy friendly for all. Order it as needed and it can be prepared that way for you.

Small bites featuring Kick A$$ wings...

Spicy and non spicy flavors offered. Love variety when I have others kids - it is a huge bonus to know that I can get anything on the menu the way needed for all the kids in tow.

The full pizza pies that all the girls raved about had a sauce that was addicting - sweet with a light kick.. I am not sure. it was just tasty!

A win win is always with tots! Tater tots just make everything better but loaded up like this.. they are tasty goodness on a plate ready to be shared... a must try! (perfect for kids and with or with out whatever they may want on them)

For the lighter side and easily shareable with 2 to 4 - this fresh grilled chicken pesto sandwich was so good.. I took my leftovers home!

Everything is bigger and better at Tavern & Bowl so why wouldn't their appetizers be too!? Ask about the Pretzel when you visit... this is for sure going to be ordered with beer next time!

Eats.. enough said or well pictured..... right!? Well one more.... my personal fave.. the flat bread. I loved the crunch and flavors combined to create a light bite leaving room for a few other tastes too.

Overall Tavern + Bowl was perfect for an afternoon of tween and family fun before the nightlife starts popin with adults ready to grab a brew at the bar and bowl too! But....

I do want to return with the hubs and some friends for a date night! The bar and scenery vibe is definitely kicked up a notch for the evening festivities.

Location is great for after the beach or birthday even a team building would be super fun at Tavern + Bowl.

Oh speaking of perfect... check this out... walk in and last minute summer fun.. be random cause here is a deal for you!!

I hope to visit with our family soon too so that we can recap an autism friendly visit too with more tips!

Stranger Things Maze Coming to Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights #HHN

Oh My Haunt Season Gosh! Are You a Fan of Stranger Things?!

Yes!! A “Stranger Things” maze coming to Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights!!

Hot off the press... this first look image created by the official illustrator, Kyle Lambert, of the series brings the fear to life and reality that HHN is under a month away! I LOVE FALL - It brings the best of haunts to us.

Look at the insanely creepy image of the guests terrified, fleeing the scene, the stranger things scene!

Universal Studios Hollywood, Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Singapore Debut Exclusive First Look Image of New “Stranger Things” Halloween Horror Nights Maze Based on the Critically-Acclaimed Netflix Original Series

Hot off the press...

I don't know about you but I love all things Haunt season. I have never been to HHN but each year I follow along with the updates and scare news leading up tot he opening day of haunt season.

This year there are some new scares to keep you on your toes!

"Things are about to get turned upside down at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights’ with the first look reveal of the “Stranger Things” maze key art designed exclusively by Kyle Lambert, the official illustrator of the mega-hit Netflix original series.

Featuring the series’ cast standing adjacent to the predatory Demogorgon, the ominous image depicts a nearly palpable account of what guests can expect to experience when the “Stranger Things” maze debuts as part of “Halloween Horror Nights” this fall.

The “Stranger Thing” maze, inspired by season one of the Netflix series, will come to life at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort, beginning, Friday, September 14, and at Universal Studios Singapore, beginning Thursday, September 27, 2018.

The parallel universe, referred to as the Upside Down, that terrorized the small town of Hawkins, Indiana in “Stranger Things,” will bring the chittering, predatory Demogorgon to “Halloween Horror Nights” to stalk unwitting guests as they encounter iconic scenes, characters and environments from the mesmerizing series.

Working collaboratively with Netflix, along with the creators and executive producer of the blockbuster series—Matt Duffer, Ross Duffer and Shawn Levy, the mazes will be authentic representations of “Stranger Things,” designed to transport guests into artfully recreated scenes and storylines. From the menacing Hawkins National Laboratory, under the U.S. Department of Energy, to the Byers home adorned with an erratic display of flashing Christmas lights and the eerie Upside Down woods oozing a shower of floating orb-like spores, the chilling new mazes will offer surprising twists and unexpected turns around every corner."

Sounds Intense!!!!

I have been told that the front of line passes or vip access are the way to go by many people so I would have to suggest that based on others feedback.

Universal Studios’ “Halloween Horror Nights” is the ultimate Halloween event.

For more than 25 years, guests from around the world have visited “Halloween Horror Nights” to become victims inside their own horror film. Multiple movie-quality mazes based on iconic horror television shows, films and original stories come to life season after season, while the streets of each park’s event are transformed into highly-themed scare zones with menacing scare-actors lunging from every darkened corner.

For more information about “Halloween Horror Nights” visitwww.HalloweenHorrorNights.com.

Any Tips for those going? Since I have not been I can only relay what I have been told too... so don't fore that the VIP front line pass was suggested by many readers so far. Also arrive early to take advantage of the areas open prior to the festivities rolling out into the night.

Happy Haunt Season planning all..... Fall is almost here.
