Orange County’s Inaugural Paella Wine & Beer Festival is Set for August 26

Nearly 50 Local Chefs to Compete for Spot at World Paella Championship in Spain.



Orange County’s first ever Paella Wine & Beer Festival is coming to the Orange County Fair and Event Center on Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 4-9 p.m.

 

Nearly 50 local chefs will compete with their own paella recipes for the chance to represent the United States at the World Paella Championship in Sueca, Valencia, Spain. Event entry includes unlimited wine, beer and paella and features an experience reflecting what one would find while strolling through a lively outdoor market in Spain. There will be live entertainment including Flamenco performances and Spanish rock, and local vendors will offer tapas, sangrias, cocktails, cultural art, and much more.

We love soccer, yes we do, we love soccer, how about you?!

 

I know soccer is a sport rapidly growing popularity these days but we've been a soccer family since my dad played professional for Olympiakos in Greece.

 

We love attending games and bringing our whole family out to support soccer!


 

The USL has brought competitive professional soccer to a new level. Not only does the USL bring more games and big household names to the US but the USL also give us a year round opportunity to enjoy great competitive soccer matches locally!

 

We are so excited to hear that the 2018 USL Season has been extended... more futbol games to see.

It's no secret that we love Grand Legacy at the Park!

We have had our fair share of fun staying at Grand Legacy At The Park hotel for family fun, staycations, anniversary getaways and just random visits to close local fun with a night away.

One thing we had never done, until this weekend, was stay at our fav hotel with a bunch of girls using the time away for soccer club team bonding building event.

 

Who would have thought right?!

 

Well we had 11 girls and 9 sleep over in their beautiful and huge Grand Legacy three room suite!

Grand Opening Celebration of Orange County Soccer Club's New Stadium at The Great Park in Irvine

Have you heard the soccer news?!

 

Following up to the Grand Opening of Phase 1 of the Sports PARK at the Great Park... the Orange County Soccer Club's Stadium will make its debut on August 18th!

 

The game is selling out fast. We have been to a few games now and the energy is fantastic.

 

I personally can not wait to walk around the beautiful structure myself.

It's a Big Weekend For The Great Park in Irvine!

Living in the Irvine area for over 30 years, I have watched the growth of our local cities, parks and communities.

 

It is wonderful to see that the massive space of land, once knows as the El Toro Marine Base, is being used for so many outdoor and family friendly activities!

 

We have already been to a few awesome soccer matches played by the Orange County Soccer Club and can not wait to see the team in action in their new home!

 

Come out to the Great Park (my favorite of the OC Parks) this Saturday and celebrate with everyone!
