Secrets Of Sulphur Springs airs of the Disney Channel Friday night 2/15 at 8 pm PST!

Update 2.12.21

We can not keep from wanting to know what's going to happen next. There is something mysterious about a few things and im trying to put my finger on how it all connects.

We are so so hooked! Thanks for the mini pies to keep us snacking so we didn't have to bite our nails off as we anticipated what came next this week!

Update 2.16.21

And we're not even sur how it's fair to keep us on rhe edge of our seats like this week after week! As a whole family we eagerly await the next episode and then prep to watch together.

This week we were gifted a really nostalgic piece of tasty fun. Wow! Thank you Disney for the set from The Tremont. Let's get baking!

We love it, as a mama looking for ways to keep my family time fresh, Secrets of Sulphur Springs is a win!!!!! Even the hubs is hooked as much as the kids are!

Updated 3.3.21

Thankful to Disney Channel for each weeks preview! Once again we sat in suspense as the Tremont shared it's secrets with us one by one.

I love how persistent both Griff and Harper are to figure out what to do and how to help Savannah.

This Friday we will see an interesting twist to things and come face to face with a question I think we've all asked ourselves. I'll ask that question next week after Fridays episode airs.

We also had the pleasure to chat with "mom & dad" from the show. Josh and Kelly are a joy to chat with. We loved that rhey are so happy playing their roles in this mystery.

They mentioned how its important to them both to show a realistic family with issues to get through and goals to meet together but that it isn't always cake and ice cream but hard work.

We are really enjoying this great show each week. It's a family show for family time and we all could use a few moments to slow down appreciate one another with hot cocoa and a mystery!

Thanks Disney! We also really loved making oir hot cocoa bombs into hot chocolate for the show. Love the Easter eggs too.. those are hints that writers put in or show off or drop to those who pick up on them!

Updated 3.12.21

It's that time again... our favorite day of rhe week. Friyay!!

Each week we have enjoyed the magical moments of opening our surprises that tie in to Sulphur Springs time after time.. see what I  did there. Hehe.

This week we loved the nostalgic feeling when opening the caboodles cart all. I had one that my 13yo now uses and now I have a new one to sport twinning with her & of course to keep all my make up and face essential go to things handy.

Inside a special radio, like the one we see in each episode, that takes Harper, Griffin and Savannah back and forth time traveling. So cool!

This week in the season finale we are really shocked with some eerie and emotional developments within the show. I mean by now we're totally invested and feel like we know rhe qctos and characters so our suspense feels elevated!

We hope you tune in and watch the season finale of The Secrets of Sulphur Springs too, tonight at 8pm on Disney Channel.

We are really grateful and have enjoyed rhe opportunity to chat with the show’s stars. Some very talented kids they are... Elle Graham (Savannah), Preston Oliver (Griffin) and Kyliegh Curran (Harper) bring us to rhe edge of our seats each week and we're going to miss seeing them each week!

More next week.... well not this time but it's been fun hasn't it!!

"Secrets of Sulphur Springs” is a time-travel mystery series for kids & families.

Set in the fictional Louisiana town of Sulphur Springs, the series follows 12-year-old Griffin Campbell (Preston Oliver, "Chicago Fire") whose world has been upended by his father, Ben (Josh Braaten, "American Horror Story"). Ben has moved the family from Chicago to take ownership of an abandoned hotel property, The Tremont. The Campbell family, which also includes Griffin's mother, Sarah (Kelly Frye, "Criminal Minds"), and his younger twin siblings, Wyatt (Landon Gordon, "Coop & Cami Ask the World") and Zoey (Madeleine McGraw, "Outcast"), moves into The Tremont in hopes of restoring it to the lively vacation destination it once was. On his first day at his new school, Griffin hears rumors that the hotel is haunted by the ghost of Savannah (Elle Graham, "Swamp Thing"), a girl who disappeared decades ago. He soon meets and befriends Harper (Kyliegh Curran, "Doctor Sleep"), a thrill-seeking classmate, and soon they discover a secret portal that allows them to travel back in time and uncover clues about the town mystery.

Episode 5, "Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Time" airs Friday on the Disney Channel 8pm. We will be re watching it!

Until next week.... keep up the suspense & enjoy the surprises!

DIY Hot Chocolate Bombs !! #hotchocolatebombs

It's All the Fad..... Hot Chocolate Bombs!!

Have you heard of Hot Chocolate Bombs?!

Okay so we decided to make them.

Let's just get to it. We had so much fun crafting these up.

What you need:

Sphere Silicone Mold
Melting Chocolate
Sprinkles
Marshmallows
Hot Chocolate

Here are the easy to do steps:

Melt your chocolate (use micro safe bowls if need to and heat in 30 sec increments)

Pour into molds about a teaspoon at first to coat the mold.. hot tip.. or cold.. haha.. put the mold into freezer after a thin layer about a minute then layer up from center out not too thick.

Set mold in freezer to harden up chocolate
After 5 mins pop them put carefully and place on sheet. I stuck a cold pack under mine to keep them from melting when I picked them up.

Fill half the molds with hot cocoa & choclate chips, sprinkles and marshmallows

Heat a plate and put half the sphere on just to melt the edge of the rim then put it on top of the other half sealing the two halves... hold for a few seconds to melt together.

Drizzle and or sprinkle the top

Heat milk or water and drop your hot chocolate bomb in!

Enjoy!! Tasty & homemade!!

Happy Holidays!

On The Go Tamales In Hand from Miguel's Jr #MyMiguelsJr Makes it Easy to Dine Tamale Happy

So It's  No Secret Wr Are Huge Tamale Fans... Thanks to Miguel's Jr. We Soccer Night in Tamale Style!

Have you heard the news?!

Mary's tamale bundle is here...

Thanks to Miguel's Jr. for hooking us up with a tasty treat of a family meal. All opinions are my own.

What?! I know! Mary's Tamale bundle, a complete meal for 4 featuring 6 tamales, 4 drinks, and chips and salsa is perfect for on the go peeps like us.

Tis the season for tamales and we loved them.

Since we make, buy and eat tamales we love to try others for flavor and quality.

We thought that Miguel's Jr. Tamale pack was filling, tasty and bot dry, a bonus on that flavor too. I am picky when it comes to how the masa sticks or well does NOT stick to the corn husk and how dry tamales can be. These were perfectly tasty and to my style.

If you are in a rush this holiday season or need to bring a dish to share.. grab some tamales. They are so easy to cut up and share with a group & everyone loves them!

We have had soccer 3 to 4 nights a week lately so this is the perfect meal to take a break with and have ready to eat. Everyone loved it.

Happy eating my foodie friends....

Can you believe it's time to get ready for back to school? I know right!

We love spending summer at the beach, toes in the sand, laying out and splashing at the pool and of course we pack snacks to go along with us.

I am always a fan of packing what we will eat so that I can manage the kids, toys, towels, food, drinks and all other things we take with us. I often take Boudin Bread with us, sliced and eaten just like that.

Last week we took a break from the sun and shopped till we dropped for back to school clothes at MainPlace Mall.

The kids get so hungry shopping, oh who am I kidding, I am always hungry and we're a foodie family. I thought it would be fun to have a special lunch at one of our most favorite eateries.

Locca Churros + Tea Opens Inside Union Market Mission Viejo at Kaleidoscope & We LOVE it all...

I am Loca for Locca!

Okay so did I just call my self carzy? I did....

I am totally crazy or loca over Locca Churros and Tea! Have you heard about this new little secret spot?

Well it's not that secret it's just new and a must try!

I was able to give Locca a try after a mom meet up last week. All opinions are my own and I am super grateful to Locca for inviting us to try their goodness out.

I really enjoyed how fresh and full of flavor the Locca teas and milk teas are. I also appreciate that they didn't look at me like I was totally loca (I can drop that pun all day) that I asked for No Boba... I know right.. just have to be in the mood.

It makes me smile when an owner takes such pride in the magic behind the scenes to bring us what we taste. Aside from the fresh churros that make your mouth just water, the toppings are nothing short of customizable and delish.

Pile on the different creative ingredients on top of fresh churned ice cream made in socal to bring the most creamy bite to each spoonful.

I found myself saying wow... the kids are going to love these churros too... better than (dare I say it...) Disney churros. Whelp there, I said it. It's true... fresh, warm, packed with sugar and cinnamon and there is something about the batter used.... its addictive. I couldn't stop..

Here are more deets on the new location and all that is offered. I can't wait to get the kids back so they can create and taste too.

Hot off the press....

Top 5 Reaseons We Stay At Grand Legacy At The Park Hotel in Anaheim

Happy Summer Planning!!

Ready for our Staycation Favorites on Grand Legacy At The Park - Hotel Next to Disneyland Resort?!

I've written about how much we enjoy staying and playing at our favorite local Anaheim Hotel, Grand Legacy At The Park many times... we really so enjoy it!

But.. this time I am just summing up our most favorite things about why we stay and enjoy it... feet away from Disneyland!

* Walking distance to parks.. and by walking I mean under 5 mins if you get stuck at the crossing light to main security check in! Check out one of my videos of the easy walk to the main gates here.

* Heated pool. Sometimes the kids skip the day pool play and want to swim at night while watching fireworks.

It's heated so that is totally possible at night and we all love it's relaxing atmosphere.

Spring leads to summer and that surrounds us with fresh light bites as well as flavorful herbs and spices. Lazy Dog does all of those and more just right.

From the moment you review the menu you can tell that not only is there a variety of eats from veggies to decadent salmon but there is also everything in between.. including make it yourself pizzas for the kids! WHAT?! I know Right!

Not only is that awesome but the interior changes at each location so finding a nice sport for sensory is easy.. indoor or outdoor.

Hot Tip... There are T.V's all over in the bar that can be seen from anywhere so be sure to make it a family fun time for good eats anytime.

Hot Tip 2 hehe... Their kitchen is brilliantly broken into sections for the purpose of not cross cooking or mixing while cooking the dishes offered. This is wonderful for allergy, taste, freshness and just dedication to taste!

Happy Eating...

Lucille's Bar-B-Que Teams Up to Support #AutismAwareness this April with "Round It Up"

Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que Teams Up With Autism Speaks, Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center and Grant a Gift Autism Foundation

To Increase Acceptance and Understanding of Autism Family-owned, award-winning barbeque destination Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que is teaming up with Autism Speaks, Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center and Grant a Gift Autism Foundation to help increase understanding and acceptance of autism.

The April campaign marks World Autism Month.

Our family was blessed with our son 6 years ago. Around 18 months I noticed behavioral and cognitive delays. Autism diagnosis came at age 3 and we have worked very hard with our son and his team to bring him to meet and exceed goals at hand.

Today he is on track to be in Gen Ed for 1st grade and was tested as gifted academically! He is 6 and educationally just brilliant!

There are hard days, good days, days I cry over our goals met and days I cry over a struggle that my boy knows he wants to overcome!

Autism is not the same for everyone, but, everyone on the Autism Spectrum wants the same and deserves the same as each one of us!

We all want friends, to love and to be loved.... everything else is just an added bonus.

We are so grateful to Lucille's for giving back and helping spread awareness for Autism.

Tried Fresh Brothers Pizza & Loved It! #Giveaway #NationalPizzaMonth #FreshBrothers

Fresh Brothers Fresh Pizza and so much more...

Have you tried Fresh Brothers yet?

Yum - It was our first time and we loved it.

We are big on pizza but when you can order tasty appetizers, salads and desserts it's just an added bonus.

But wait... if you dine in you can also grab a beer and watch some sports on the many t.v.'s they have set up. I heard Monday night football has become a family night at Fresh Brothers and while we were picking up our to go order it was about that time.

On busy nights (4 or so week nights) we have school, soccer, training, o.t., homework and random stuff... but I still try to make or serve my kids tasty healthier foods.

We called in a to-go order. It was so easy to order, pick it up and get home to a hot meal ready for my family to chomp down on. After soccer my 10yo can eat like a grown woman... she's as fierce as her hunger too.

While the Fresh Brothers team put our order together we chatted with RJ the manager. He is really awesome. He told me how proud he is to work at Fresh Brothers not only because it's great food but because as a company they give back to their communities and take pride in bringing families together for food and fun.

RJ mentioned they have the ability to host parties or group outings. The group would make their pizzas and eat them too. I love this! You can find out more about booking one here.

Something else that RJ really stressed to me is the quality of ingredients in all their foods. From pizza to salad and all the appetizers in between... even the pepperoni is all natural. That meant taking my pepperoni pizza home, I'd see much less grease, I loved that!

I took some photos of the inside and it's pretty spacious. I can see why it fills up for game nights!
We packed up and filled our car with the smell of tasty goodness. It was a long ride home smelling but not tasting haha!

Wow! With a variety of eats Fresh Brothers packs on as much variety in their flavors.

The pizza was amazing and we all loved the taste of freshness and toppings.

The sides were delicious on their own & the chicken parm sliders and beef sliders were a hit with everyone.

The fresh green salad was perfect for the palate in between so many flavors between the pizza and the side dishes.

Something that really stuck with me was that there is vegan cheese and gluten-free pizza crust so that anyone can really enjoy that may have a dietary need.

Fresh Brothers even has you covered for dessert to go! Check out these beauties!

While we did not dine in this time I was totally encouraged by the chat RJ and I had to bring my family it. He said they like it fun, loud and full of good energy.

I told him I appreciated that since my son is a wild one but with an amazingly crafty yet sweet heart.

So... since I love that there is beer served and TVs everywhere so that families can plan a nice night out enjoying a favorite sport for the adults while the kids enjoy delish Pizza... I'm going to take the fam back for more but stay and dine in!

This month is perfect to repeat our visit.. it is National PIZZA Month!! YAY!
