Newport Dunes is the Perfect Holiday Getaway for Families!
All our tips & details on how lovely our first time staying in an RV at Newport Dunes was... all opinions are our own, thank you ND for the stay.
From cozying up by the campfire all winter long in beautiful Newport Beach to enjoying activities like watersports, there’s something for everyone. We just loved our two night stay waterfront experience!

It's super easy to book and stress free to stay at Newport Dunes during our California winter — you can reserve a cabin or even rent an RV through their list of RV affiliates on their website and they’ll have the RV set up ready for you to enjoy!
Hot Tips for a stress free stay!
* RV rental was made easy with El Monte RV for us but there are also partnering RVs that you can find here.
* Not sure what to pack? Feel free to bring any items you would normally take for camping or for a trip to the beach (blankets, towels, umbrella, chairs, sunscreen, etc.).
* Firepits on the beach are first come first serve - plan accordingly if you want a spot one evening or rent a fire pits from ND directly too.
* Meals can be purchased at Moe B’s Munchies (love that breakfast is offered at 9am). Moe B’s Munchies winter hours are...
Friday: 12:00 – 7:00 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am – 7:00 pm
Sunday: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
* Forget something or want a sweet treat like we did? Head up towards registration and visit the market. They have anything you may need plus ice cream that you want... wink wink it was delish swirled.
* Laundry on Site, Heated Pool & Jacuzzi, plus there's a clubhouse with a full game room and area for private group events too.
* Want to work out, awesome, there's a gym on site and we also found that walking the beachfront path along all the way to the Bay bridge and looping around back in a giant circle is about one mile. We did that at least six times in two days since it's just a gorgeous walk day and night.
* Entertainment on site! This is huge for us. We like to be active, explore, see and just do things. We had so much fun with the pedal boats and at the Watersports Rental they also offer kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, or, Duffy boats). Open 11am to 5p. FRI-SUN during winter and it does get busy.
We really enjoyed our staycation RV style at Newport Dunes and honestly would do it again, in fact, we can't wait to return any time of year. Everyone on site was amazing and kind as well as the renters around us being super pleasant. We had such a great time we are looking at when we can return even if it's for a day-cation this holiday!
