Lake Forest expands with beautiful Baker Ranch !

Eat, Tour, Explore - We sure did and it is lovely.

When OnTheGoOCKid and I toured the new master planned community, Baker Ranch, we were in awe of its amenities and it's surrounding beauty.

I have gown up in Lake Forest, not to date myself but,  it was called El Toro when I moved into "town". I have watched this town grow and become a city. I am honored to live here and because of how much I enjoyed my youth, I too am raising my children here.

When we see the parks, play areas, nature friendly and picturesque views all around Baker Ranch it's easy to know where we will be spending a lot of time with our kids.

I was so eager to get a closer look at the entire community !

We were sitting at the Chef's table for the cooking demo with Richard Blais !

Kid Blogger and I were so in awe of just how funny, personable and just great Richard and his team were. They are both skilled with the knife and funny.. what better qualities in a Chef can you ask for - serve me up some of that !

We were able to taste some of his pasta and watched him prepare and entertain us with some buckwheat spaghatini that is made in house at Juniper and Ivy, Richards local San Diego restaurant.
So good that my daughter finished it all.

What I look forward to trying out of Richard's cookbook, Try This At Home, are the home made pastas ! Oh Yes.. soccer season is in.. lets get my kids some carbs freshly made !

Thanks to Richard for the photo op, entertainment and great food - looking forward to heading down to his restaurant one day.. maybe on a staycation !

We decided to check out all the resort style living amenities. Aside from the glistening pool and inviting spa there is a splash pad area for, well, all ages. It was so cool to watch my girl just jump right in and test it out... she can't wait to get back to water play... can we get a visitor pass please ?!

Aside from the play areas (I have two small kids & I just have to look out for the best play areas) the spa like retreat that the club house offers is just beyond relaxing.. almost as if I were on a staycation !

We wanted to check out the model homes and boy did we...
AMAZING ! Just beautiful and bright inside and out. There was not much that was left out at all - dialed in from top to bottom, from front to back.

There are so many beautiful lay outs from the Brookland by Shea Homes, that is 2-3 bedrooms (perfect for my family) to the Highlands by Toll Brothers, that is 5 bedrooms. The lighting and landscape is welcoming and the way the homes are set up to surround parks, views and one another, makes Baker Ranch very attractive !

What we are looking forward to most - the Alton Bridge ! That will connect everything together and allow for everyone to cross one side of the community to the other safely, Cant wait !
