Discovery Cube Winter Wonderfest Returns December 17th #DCOCWinter

Winter Wonderfest is Back for It's 2nd Year!

Last year we attended Winter Wonderfest and it was the first time my son went sledding!

As a family we had a lot of fun. There is always a lot of different activities for all ages. What I loved most last year was the different areas of snow and sledding play. From tiny to tall there is sport for everyone to have fun. (Recap of Last Years Fun)

This Year we are rapidly moving through the Holidays... I wanted to give you guys the heads up on all the news and happenings at Winter Wonderfest... so here are the latest deets on the festivities!

Winter Wonderfest 2016/2017

Winter Wonderfest Offers Kids the Chance to Learn About the Science of Snow with Interactive Exhibits Featuring Over One Hundred Tons of Real Snow
Discovery Cube is hosting their second annual Winter Wonderfest, beginning December 17, 2016 through January 8, 2017, at both their Orange County and Los Angeles locations.

This snowstorm of thrills and excitement will offer kids the opportunity to learn the science behind sledding down ice ramps, weather and how snow is formed through hands-on activities.

The holiday exhibit will include sliding down a 75-foot long ramp on inner tubes, a snow play area and real snow sledding. Kids will be provided with tools to play with the snow and build snow castles, snowmen, snow angels and all kinds of other frosty creations.

Other “snow meets science” learning stations include Animal Adaptations to the Cold, Three States of Water and Cloud in a Bottle. Winter Wonderfest creates an entertaining way to approach education through a day of family bonding during the holiday season.

Starting Saturday, December 17, 2016 through Sunday, January 8, 2017 (except Christmas)

Address Locations: Discovery Cube, Orange County Campus, 2500 N Main St, Santa Ana, CA 92705 AND Discovery Cube, Los Angeles Campus, 11800 Foothill Blvd, Sylmar, CA 91342
