The Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor hosted an electric Dia De Los Muertos celebration on November 1, marking the final night of the 7th annual season of fright. With thousands of attendees over 23 nights of terror, the world’s most authentically haunted experience saw record breaking crowds flock to experience the new spectacle of attractions unveiled in 2017.

Dark Harbor 2017 unveiled multiple new attractions including the gruesome new maze, FEAST, telling the tale of the newest resident spirit, Chef, and his long-forgotten legend. FEAST marked the 4th maze onboard the actual Queen Mary ship, venturing into previously unrevealed areas. The new Chef’s Meat Locker unveiled the frozen depths of the one-of-a-kind ice bar experience taking guests into a 9-degree environment for a curated selection of flavored tasting flights.
Dark Harbor once again pushed artistic boundaries with the unique Sliders Unite 2: Hell at the Harbor, a collaboration performance featuring 30 of Southern California’s top sliders. Nightly shows on multiple stages presented the terrifying talents of magicians, circus performances, fire breathers, musicians, aerial acrobatics, contortionists and more.

The authentic haunt saw thousands of guests each night including some of Hollywood’s hottest celebrities. Hollywood’s newest couple, Kendall Jenner and Blake Griffin, were among many who experienced the spine-chilling mazes with close friends.

Horror film actor and star of Anabelle: Creation, Talitha Bateman, experienced Dark Harbor with her entire family including celebrity brother Garbriel Bateman (Lights Out). Disney’s Bella and The Bulldog co-star Brec Bessinger and Shameless star Emma Kenney joined thrill seekers on opening night along with ABC’s winners of Battle of the Boy Band, In Real Life. SoCal’s Halloween queen, Vanessa Hudgens also experienced Dark Harbor along with sister, Stella Hudgens. ABC’s Modern Familystar, Ariel Winter, joined in the Dark Harbor scares with close friends and Bridget Marquardt, star of E!’s The Girls Next Door, dressed-up in costume and joined the monsters as she hosted the Haunted Halloween Bash on Halloween night, October 31.

In addition to the new exciting attractions at this year’s Dark Harbor, the event offered frightful fun to thousands of attendees, breaking the events own record for largest nightly crowds to date and setting a new record for the largest full-season attendance in the history of the event. In addition to multiple sold-out nights, Dark Harbor set a thrilling record in 2017 for the most guests on a single day.

As the annual haunt comes to a thrilling close, the Queen Mary will put fear aside and begin to relish in the holiday spirit as the all-new CHILL opens on December 13 through January 7. CHILL invites guests to embark on an international holiday expedition this winter with the unveiling of the first-ever Ice Adventure Park offered in the U.S. with ice tubing, ice bumper cars, ice bikes, zip-lining and more.

The newly-inspired CHILL offers a rush of icy family fun with nightly entertainment throughout the park including international cultural celebrations, live music, Rockettes-style dance performances, Sunday night fireworks, light shows, DJs, dancing, tasty food, a nightly Christmas Tree lighting ceremony and much more.
