We love Pirates Dinner Adventure!! Seasonal Shows make us smile. Pirates is always a blast with interaction from the audience, food, comedy, suspense and more!


The show is really cute... Christmas is in danger! It’s up to you and your family to rescue Santa and Mrs. Claus from a crew of rouge pirates and save the holiday season!


"Starting Nov. 29, Pirates Dinner Adventure’s hit, holiday-themed dinner show “Pirates Take Christmas” will return to provide guests with thrills and Christmas cheer. The magical special will run through Jan. 1.

Scoundrel pirates have captured Santa and Mrs. Claus, threatening to bring an end to the holiday season and disappointing all the good children around the world. With help from you, your family and a little bit of magic, you can ensure Santa beats the pirates and saves Christmas.

Guests will laugh and cheer as the pirates perform awe-inspiring stunts and festive songs. This Yuletide adventure combines audience participation, heart-pounding action and the spirit of the season, along with a hearty, three-course feast."

“‘Pirates Take Christmas’ has been a beloved tradition for families across Southern California for many years,’” said Julio Duran, the general manager of the attraction. “Our team can’t wait to open the show this holiday season and spread Christmas cheer to all!”

Pirates Dinner Adventure general admission includes a three-course dinner with unlimited soft drinks. Ticket prices for the Christmas special start at $65.95 for adults and $38.95 for children 11 and under. Upgrades are available for purchase.

SeaWorld San Diego Celebrates the Holiday Season with ALL-NEW Seasonal Shows, Fireworks, and Brings Back Fan Favorites!!

SeaWorld just announced all the details for their Holiday Festivities. 


We are so excited to celebrate the holiday season with sea-life and more. SeaWorld does such a fantastic job of bringing seasonal events for all ages to life.

This winter SoCal gets a dash of everything Holiday entertainment when you visit SeaWorld... here are all the details we know so far!!

Hot off the press...

"SeaWorld San Diego is bringing festive cheer and special traditions to families this holiday season at its annual Christmas Celebration with new and returning fan favorite offerings. 

Exciting new offerings includes two all-new holiday theater shows, live reindeer available for viewing, Mrs. Claus’s Christmas Cavalcade, an all-new holiday fireworks show, and more. Returning holiday fun includes photo opportunities with Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer, the beloved SeaWorld Christmas Brass Band, delicious hot chocolate and more. 


The park will transform into a winter wonderland of snowfall that guests can enjoy as well as a daily tree lighting of a newly reimagined 320-foot SkyTower Tree of Lights and a twinkling 30-foot Christmas tree. Holiday celebrations, including Hanukkah and Kwanzaa festivities, are running on select dates November 14 through January 8, 2023

ALL-NEW festive Entertainment for the Whole Family

Make new holiday traditions with ALL-NEW shows and experiences sure to become guest favorites in no time! From soulful renditions of holiday classics to a special cavalcade with Mrs. Claus, there’s no shortage of ways that guests can fill their days and evenings at Christmas Celebration! 


ALL-NEW performances and activities include:

  • A Stocking Full of Soul Theater Show – Join “America’s Got Talent” Finalist Bryan Cheatham as he and his friends sing and dance the night away while getting ready for his big Christmas Celebration! Experience a soulful celebration of Holiday classics with appearances by some of your favorite SeaWorld characters in this original production. Located at Mission Bay Theater on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays starting Nov. 18.
  • A Joyous Celebration Theater Show – The magic of Christmas will come alive at A Joyous Celebration! This family-friendly show combines energetic dancing, familiar Holiday songs, bright lights, and a Broadway-style set to bring out the Yuletide cheer in everyone! Located at Nautilus Amphitheater nightly starting Nov. 18
  • Mrs. Claus’ Christmas Cavalcade – See Mrs. Claus and her band of merry elves as they make their way throughout the park on a festive procession for guests to view several times daily.
  • The Holly Pops and Holiday Hipsters –Two acapella Christmas caroling groups will surprise and delight guest throughout the park. Their fresh and inventive arrangements of holiday favorites will bring the magic of the season to life.
  • Donner and Blitzen’s LaZer LAZER with a ‘Z’ Light Show – This NEW show will bring festive laser light fun to guests twice nightly at the front of the park.
  • A Christmas Wish Fireworks Show - There’s nothing like seeing the magic of Christmas light up the sky above SeaWorld. With festive colors and brilliant pyrotechnics Don’t miss the thrilling spectacle of this special new holiday fireworks display, showing on select nights in December.

Experience a Winter Wonderland in Southern California

With wintery décor, snowfall throughout the park, and eye-catching displays including the iconic and newly reimagined 320-foot SkyTower Tree of Lights and holiday fireworks, guests will enjoy a wonderland of holiday fun. Guests can renew holiday traditions by following the reindeer hoof prints to visit Santa and have an opportunity to share their Christmas wishes with him. Plus, everyone’s favorite reindeer is nearby at Rudolph's Christmastown where Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer™ will make spirits bright with a photo to take home and cherish. 

Other returning festive fun includes:

  • Clyde and Seamore’s Christmas Special – Guests can join our lively sea lion pals Clyde and Seamore in this spoof of a nighttime television Christmas Special. Clyde, Seamore, and their mischievous co-host, OP Otter, are together again to create a family favorite show filled with laugh-out-loud holiday cheer.
  • Holiday Cocktails, Craft Beer, Hot Chocolate & More - Grown-ups will want to get even more festive with an ice-cold brew, a glass of wine or one of SeaWorld’s specialty holiday cocktails. Or for the whole family, experience SeaWorld’s famous hot chocolate with candy toppings. 
  • Reindeer Round-Up Scavenger Hunt – Get started on a merry quest with a Reindeer Round-Up Map! Explore the park to find all of Santa’s beloved reindeer and mark each location on your map to collect a special gift.  Plus, see live reindeer at Santa’s Village. Follow Donner and Blitzen’s magical reindeer hoof prints, throughout the park as the lead you directly to Santa.
  • Holiday Lights & Magic - Explore the magic and wonder of SeaWorld’s beautifully decorated outdoor park grounds and the iconic SkyTower Tree of Lights, redesigned to look more like a Christmas tree than ever and bring holiday magic to all who can see it. Plus, enjoy a 30 ft. Christmas tree with twinkling lights and Christmas songs programmed to the movement of multiple lighting designs.
  • The Holiday Brass - Nothing says “Happy Holidays” like the energetic and iconic sound of our SeaWorld Christmas Brass Band. Starting on Nov. 18, Holiday Brass can be found throughout the park and at the Wild Arctic stage at select times.

Tis' the season to celebrate all things Holiday at Universal Studios Hollywood!


We love having our Season Passes to enjoy festivities all year long. The holidays at Universal are so much fun. 

From the shows and rides to the decor around the park and of course the eats and treats to try... everything puts you into the spirit of the season.

Here are all the deets from USH!

Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” brings the spirit of the holiday season to the village of Hogsmeade™, which is transformed with festive décor and merriment. Guests can savor a delicious Hot Butterbeer™ while enjoying a special holiday a capella performance from the Hogwarts Frog Choir. Activities also include holiday shopping for exclusive items within the village shops, including personalized ornaments and notebooks, and dining on hearty holiday fare at Three Broomsticks™.


As night falls on the snowy town, Hogwarts™ Castle will come to life in a dazzling spectacle, “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle.” The impressive light projection show will amaze audiences with its stunning imagery and animation as the castle infuses the land with joyous wonderment and features music and sounds from the Harry Potter film series.


The cheerful “Grinchmas” Who-bilation will return in jolly fashion to Universal Plaza, located in the heart of the theme park. Festive park-goers can marvel in amazement at the topsy-turvy 65 foot-tall “Grinchmas” tree decorated with hundreds of ornaments and thousands of LED lights. Every evening, a jovial tree lighting ceremony will excite guests as they listen to the Grinch himself tell his story along with the Who-ville Whos, ending in a snowball flurry, bringing joy and merriment to all.


A variety of activities are available to guests looking to get into the “Grinchmas” spirit. The Grinch and his faithful dog Max will be available for photo opportunities throughout the day. Cindy-Lou Who leads daily story time for young visitors looking to learn of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and the Who-ville post office will be accepting postcards with holiday messages. Additionally, an array of sweet holiday treats, including hot cocoa, will be available for purchase.


Adding to the theme park activities, Universal CityWalk will be dressed for the holiday season with spirited décor and a 40 foot-tall Christmas tree featuring more than 200,000 LED lights. The infamous Voodoo Doughnut will tempt guests with delicious seasonal flavors to celebrate the holiday spirit.

Happy Hauntings OC at Wild Rivers

Okay!! So let me break down Happy Hauntings OC for you from our visit this Friday...

Details on our experience and takeaways...

* family friendly with that said my son and I enjoyed four hours together with him repeating activities

* feel it was good for ages 10 and under

* under 3 are free

* date night for food and drinks and a stroll 

* nothing scary or frightening at all, picture a stroll through relaxing evening with things for kids to do

* miniature train ride in a loop around Wild Rivers

* Food for purchase (we saw their main stand open for dole whip, snacks and drinks as well as 4 different food vendors & two food trucks)

* DJ playing music with lights for kids to enjoy

* movie in the wave pool on big screen

* mostly blow up slides for kids again I'd say age 10 and under

* there is a coupon right now for $5 off

* definitely not for adults only that are expecting thrills or fair style rides etc... it's really more of a pop up inflatable pumpkin patch that has slides, maze, movie, photo opps and a chilax feeling that you can let your littles repeat activies and enjoy a safe evening in lots of open space

Hope this helps give an idea of our experience there, my teenager went to FNL and was fine with her choice since she saw the fun my 10yo was having with me on our date.

Southern California’s Largest Winter Festival Returns to the OC Fair & Event Center With 26 Days of Fun for All Ages, Featuring All-New Attractions, Live Entertainment, Shopping, Food and More


Winter Fest OC, Southern California’s largest winter festival, returns to Costa Mesa from November 25th through January 1st for 26 days and nights of attractions, live entertainment and fun! Winter Fest OC transforms the OC Fair & Event Center into a magical winter wonderland with oversized holiday decor, more than a million lights, and endless opportunities for memory-making. New for 2022, and included in all admission tickets, is “North Pole Journey,” an immersive walk-through experience that guides guests to North Pole Village on an important mission to meet Santa Claus and save the holidays.
