Local Hot Spot for some fun this Summer - Hotel Irvine

Love it! I won tickets to Hotel Irvine's Backyard Happenings BBQ Block Party event last Sunday. Of course I took my mini me. What was awesome about the event, the proceeds went to the Irvine School Foundation. Win-Win.

I had never been to Hotel Irvine and I was totally impressed all around. The grounds are beautiful, the staff is polite and friendly and the hotel seems more of a resort like atmosphere, while next to a neighborhood and airport. So convenient for those traveling and those who live near by it is located off of Jamboree and the 405.

As we started to walk form the guest parking to the event we were greeted by a golf cart and asked if we would like a ride.. YES PLEASE ! Even Olaf was enjoying the fun.

We were dropped off at the entrance and could see the fun already going on. We picked up our tickets (thank you hotel Irvine) and were ready to head into the event. There were so many food vendors and the entertainment was already on stage!

  We checked out the scene a bit and Zoe was drawn to the kids games and over sized connect 4 that was near the craft tables and stage. Really nice set up for everyone to enjoy a little of everything. Very family friendly.

Time to check out the food. We sure did! There were so many awesome eats that participated, we did not know where to start. Here are a few of our favs! 

Hotel Irvine's Crab Cake - They also had Sliders but I could NOT pass this up!

Zoe must have gone back for at least 5 rounds. Sorry not sorry .

Kale and Cranberries - Always a go to for me.

So much to taste and try, even +Tsum Tsum Plush Toys Olaf was in for a sweet treat of his own!

Wait is that a beef slider I see !? Hand it over Olaf !

We totally took an opportunity to sneak away into the other side of the grassy area to catch a view of the pool. Oh My! Can we please come back for a staycation and lounge over there.

Hotel Irvine has a report style pool with Cabanas and privacy if wanted. 

We had so much fun at the event and are very grateful for the tickets! 

We hope to visit this summer for their Music & Movies on Friday nights !
