Summer Has Arrived At The Santa Ana Zoo

It's Summer Time at the Santa Ana Zoo!

We have a few weeks let of school, but the animals are already partying like it's the first day of summer break!

Check out all the fun they have going on. We can not wait to see their expansion. 

 Party for the Planet

A fun-filled day that celebrates wildlife while promoting conservation and educating Zoo-goers about the different ways they can help protect the environment and "go green."

Sunday, May 17th
11:00am - 2:00pm

FREE with price of admission and free to Zoo Members and Santa Ana Residents.
 

This all-Zoo event features:

• Conservation-friendly crafts
• Fun and educational games
• Hands-on demonstrations
• Education stations featuring animals, recycling, and sustainable living

Some of the participants include the Santa Ana Water District, the Fullerton Arboretum, and the USGS Western Ecology Research Center.

Ocelot Exhibit and Aviary Open! Exciting times are here at the Zoo with the Grand Opening of the Ocelot Exhibit and Education Center and the re-opening of the Colors of the Amazon Aviary. Say HELLO to our new ocelots, just behind the Colors of the Amazon Aviary and across from the camels. They are still shy and getting used to their new home, but you can usually spot one of our new furry friends lounging about. And who doesn't remember their first visit inside the peaceful Colors of the Amazon Aviary? Well it's open again, with a few new surprises inside. Come back for a rejuvenating stroll by the waterfalls through this little slice of paradise!
