Slater's 50/50 Packs a Flavorful Punch, okay, BITE!
Have you tried Slater's 50/50, honestly, it's delicious and a must try!!
Recently a re-launched Slater's 50/50 brings a more open space and family friendly environment to their Anaheim Hills location.
From the open seating restaurant to the bar on the side there are also games for your kids to play and TVs for sports entertainment.
Everything they do here is pretty over-the-top with goodness from their burgers to their fries and of course to their specialty drinks both alcoholic and not!!
I definitely want to break down some of the tasty goodness that we tried when we visited the Anaheim Hills location.
So let's get started because my mouth is watering just trying to type this all out already...
A little background on the greatness...
Inspired by the belief that bacon is meat candy, the original 50/50 patty is made of 50% ground bacon and 50% ground beef. This is just a portion of over-the-top food favorites and extensive selections of local and regional craft beers that the restaurant has to offer.
With their ANAHEIM HILLS RELAUNCH, Slater’s 50/50 is THE place where guests create their own Excesstasy™, a coined phrase which describes the overwhelming excitement felt when indulging in the Slater’s 50/50 experience.
Lone Star smoke, Black Canyon Angus beef top with smoked bacon cheddar cheese crispy onion rings pickles Smokey barbecue sauce and garlic aioli on a brioche bun
PB and jealousy, Black Canyon Angus beef thick-cut bacon natural peanut butter and strawberry jelly on a honey wheat bun
Bison and bacon, American raised bison with thick-cut bacon Swiss cheese jalapeno bacon Jam lettuce tomato aioli on a honey wheat bun
The best appetizer I've had in the longest time is Slater's vampire dip, roasted garlic and artichoke hearts blended with creamy melted cheese, served in a sourdough bread bowl with Crispy Pita and veggies for dipping
Bacon mac and cheese balls, house-made bacon mac and cheese balls breaded with panko and served with Tapatio Ranch for dipping
The ultimate s'mores Shake with toasted marshmallow and marshmallow fluff on the rim and of course crumbled graham cracker crust topped with fresh whipped cream toasted marshmallows and a chocolate syrup drizzled...
....of course with a camp fire roasted Smore oh and you can add Baileys Irish Cream for an extra charge and adult it up
You can Slaterize your fries with house-made beer cheese or bacon chili cheese
A personal favorite the sweet potato fries with pumpkin sauce was a delightful surprise to us all... okay I knew I would love them but, the kids did too!

Slater’s 50/50 was founded in 2009 in Anaheim Hills, California by Scott Slater, a SoCal native with a passion for burgers, bacon and craft beer and a disdain for the boring.
Their beer program is legendary. Every year Slater's 50/50 taps over 1000 different craft beers, something no other restaurant in the nation can claim.
Check them out and let me know what you drooled over too! Post your social pics with #Slaters5050 so that we can follow along with all the tasty goodness too!
Happy Hungry
