Campland on the Bay and Mission Bay RV Resort, San Diego’s favorite waterfront campgrounds, continue the summer fun this Labor Day weekend, Friday, August 30 through Monday, September 2, with family-friendly activities and live entertainment for resort guests at the iconic RV camping destinations on Mission Bay.

Throughout the holiday weekend, Campland will host a variety of games, activities and live entertainment, also available to guests at Mission Bay RV Resort, home to 147 spacious, new campsites, just a short stroll or bike ride away over the Mike Gotch Memorial Bridge. 

The fun-filled Activities & Events lineup will entertain kids outdoors, giving parents time to relax and enjoy the resort’s idyllic bayfront setting. Kids of all ages are invited to join the Bike Parade, cool off on Campland’s Giant Water Slide, burn some energy during a game of dodgeball, and more. Adults can join in the fun during the Campland Family Olympics, get into the competitive spirit with horseshoe and bean bag toss tournaments and unwind with an outdoor yoga class on the Central Park lawn. 

The festivities continue into the evening with Campland Rocks featuring the region’s top tribute bands Friday, August 30 through Sunday, September 1 at 7 p.m. and every Friday and Saturday evening through October 5. Bring your blankets and camping chairs to the Central Park Stage for exclusive performances under the stars, only for Campland and Mission Bay RV Resort guests. On August 30, enjoy Fleetwood Mac covers by Fleetwood Max. On August 31, dance to top 40’s hits by The Platinum Beat, followed by Steal Dawn on September 1. Dine before and during the show with takeout food and drinks from Campland Cantina restaurant and bar, just steps from the stage.

Make the most of the premium bayfront location with watersports rentals at Campland Marina. Choose from pedal boats, kayaks and pontoon boats for a leisurely excursion, or opt for more thrilling experiences on jet skis, ski boats, wave runners and stand-up paddleboards from Adventure Water Sports.
