October 11th – Bats: Heroes of the Night

As night falls, participants can enjoy an enchanting evening watching bats awaken and take to the sky. You will hear fascinating tales from Irvine Ranch Conservancy volunteers about these flying mammals as they migrate to another area of OC. This night offers a unique chance to observe bats in flight and listen to their calls – a perfect Halloween adventure! Reservations are required.
October 11th-13th & 18th-20th: Fall-O-Ween
4:30 pm - 8:30 pm | Heritage Hill Historical Park
OC Parks’ Fall-O-Ween at Heritage Hill Historical Park returns for its fourth year, offering a festive, family-friendly Halloween experience. Visitors can come in their favorite costumes to tour the decorated historical grounds, snap photos that give a Halloween vibe, and enjoy a straw maze and scavenger hunt for a spooky surprise!
October 16th: Full Moon Hike on Hicks Haul Road

October 18th: BOO at the Oaks

Explore the spooky side of nature after dark with OC Parks! Boo at the Oaks offers guided night hikes, nature stations, crafts, and a scavenger hunt for prizes. Join in the Halloween adventure to discover the critters that call the canyon home! Reservations are required.
October 23rd: Honey Tasting at Glen Ivy

Enjoy the sweetness of fall by switching out the candy for locally sourced honey! Bobcat Properties Farm, known for their Orange Blossom, California Black Sage, and Buckwheat honey, is offering special honey tasting this season. October 26th: Halloween Zoo-Tacular

OC Parks invites families to a Halloween celebration filled with fun activities like scavenger hunts, trick-or-treating, and spooky crafts for kids at the OC Zoo. Throughout the day, visitors can watch the animals enjoy treat-filled pumpkins. It is a perfect way for kids to celebrate Halloween while spending time with wildlife!
October 26th: BOO at the Bay - Family Halloween Party!

Pull out your Halloween costumes a few days early for the Boo at the Bay Halloween Party! Family and friends are invited to join this free event filled with spooky stories, creepy crafts, science experiments, and fun games! October 31st: Spooky Plants Among Us

Join Irvine Ranch Conservancy for a spooky hike that will uncover the mysteries of local plants! Participants will learn to identify native and non-native species while discovering how they impact our environment. This experience is a great way to connect with nature this Halloween! October 31st: Little Folk Club

Little Folk Club returns for a spooktacular Halloween celebration filled with interactive music and festive fun. Hosted by founder Victoria Bailey, kids are encouraged to bring their favorite instruments from home and join in the songs!
