I really love that Discovery Cube OC changes up and keeps it fresh with all their fascinating educational hands on exhibits.

My kids love Dinos and they have a soft spot for Motorcycles since that is the industry their mama worked corporate in for a while...

Hands-On Harley Davidson

Get ready to hit the road this summer with Hands-On Harley Davidson! 

Engineers and motorcycle enthusiasts alike will enjoy interactive activities to learn about safety and engine parts while also conducting experiments to see what happens when you throttle-on, lean into a curve or descend a mountain road. 

This educational traveling exhibit illustrates science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) concepts through a one-of-a-kind experience that lets visitors Dream It! Build It!... and Ride It!

Extreme Dinosaurs 

Watch the world’s strangest dinosaurs come to life at The Cube! 

The Extreme Dinosaurs exhibit immerses guests in a naturalistic landscape where animatronic dinosaurs roar, snarl, move their limbs and more. In addition to the life-size models, there are skeletons, a variety of real and replica fossils, and interactive activities showcasing some of the most recent bizarre dinosaur finds from the current “Golden Age” of paleontology. 

This family friendly experience blends science, excitement, and inspiration by highlighting the stories behind the dinosaurs’ most unusual characteristics.

Bubblefest a Must See at #DiscoveryCubeOC

Bubblefest is Fun for Everyone!

Shows are happening daily at +DiscoveryCubeOC . now until April 10th. 

This was our first year attending and I must say, I do not know why we have never attended before, we will be going yearly now. 

This year is the 20th anniversary of Bubblefest at Discovery Cube OC. I can see why it is so much fun for everyone. 

The show is amazing and so entertaining. Deni Yang is a bubble master and works these beautiful bubbled in so many creative ways. The laser show is equally entertaining and has some special effect that keep you watching. 

My daughter and her friend absolutely enjoyed every moment. They had so much fun during the show and after they loved trying to put each other into large bubbles in the outdoor play area!

I am not going to lie.... I was crying the happiest of tears watching my son who is on the Autism Spectrum come to life full of emotions watching Deni do his thing! My son has behavior issues and can't sit still for very long sometimes..but...Mikey loved it so much, he was telling me about the bubbles and the show, sat and attended to the whole thing!!!! That is how captivating and entertaining it is.

The lights did not bother him but kept him attending to the show. The bubbles were all over so there is no need to try to jump over or get to a spot during the show... everyone gets hit with the fun! 

I loved the show myself and all the interactive play that the kids can do after... but I will never forget my sons face and how he told me to look up and see the bubbles as he smiled so big and hugged me. Priceless moments like this make up for all the Autism challenges we have daily!

Thank you so much Deni and Discover Cube... you have no idea how much this meant to me and my kids. To see my son so alive with positive excitement was enough of a filled heart to last me years..well at least a year until Bubblefest returns! I will never miss this again. The kids loved it way too much and I love seeing them so excited about something!

I wanted to share that for sensory this is perfect. The bubbles are everywhere and the kids can pop, touch, play and that is in the show itself! It is NOT too loud where the noise bothers my son.. it was perfect.

Bubblefest is celebrating 20 years and returning to +DiscoveryCubeOC . March 26th through April 10th!

Everyone loves bubbles! I know we all do and I am not going to lie, I like them just as much as when I was a kid.

Returning to Discovery Cube OC, Bubblefest, is an event we have wanted to attend for a few years! My son has a thing for bubbles and loves to blow as well as pop them and my daughter loves to entertain the littles and herself year round with bubble fun. 

Since this will be our first time attending, we will definitely tell you all about it after but I wanted to give you all a heads up on all the fun that can be had at Bubblefest and what were looking forward to most!

Dora and Diego Take Over Discovery Cube OC

Dora and Diego are Coming to +DiscoveryCubeOC . 

 Are you ready to Explore with Dora and Diego at Discovery Cube Orange County? We are!

 Now through May 15th you and your group of adventure seekers can enjoy all there is to explore with Dora and Diego. 

The "Let's Explore!" exhibit takes visitors on an active adventure in the enchanting world of Dora the Explorer with her animal-rescuing cousin Diego, and their friends. 

 Explore Isa's Flowery Garden, help Tico gather nuts, join the Pirate Piggies' crew to uncover pirate treasure, and help baby animals in the Rainforest-Maze!

Must Do's:

* Visit the "Purple Planet" with Dora and Boots! 

* Sit inside the Rocket Ship and have your preschooler test their memory with shapes and colors. 

* Constellations - help your kiddos identify the constellations as Dora and Boots fly by into outer space.

* Rainforest Maze - Jump, Crawl and climb through an interactive fun maze.

Learn, Play, Laugh & Much More at Discovery Cube OC Winter Wonderfest

Winter Wonderfest at +DiscoveryCubeOC . has everything Snow for your family to enjoy in OC!

Last weekend we were privileged to attend the preview of Winter Wonderfest at the Discovery Cube OC. 

There is so much to do inside the Discovery Cube itself, but then add in all the Snow Play, Sledding and crafting, I totally thought it would be sensory overload for my 4yo.  I was wrong!

The snow play area is fenced in and there is staff at every angle ready to help. My kids wanted to brave the 70 foot ice slide and loved racing down at full speed. 

As you can see, so did my husband, yes big kids up to 230lbs are able to take a ride too. 

            

For those that are not as brave as some dare devils, there are also mini slides for 5 and up as well as a small sloped slide for under 5. 

There are a lot of the play toys that keep kids busy, leaving some like mine, never wanting to leave the fresh snow play spot next to the smaller sledding slide. 

To entice the kids to head inside, after almost 1.5hrs of winter fun, we decided to tell them they would be able to check out the new Hot Wheels exhibit as well as the Science of Gingerbread!

Hot Wheels was up first and let me tell you how lost every boy and girl, young and old, can get lost playing for hours in the best way. My son was creating ramps and races, dropping cars from over 6 feet tall and my daughter was building race tracks with her girl friends right next to the boys and were racing on their own made up tracks. It was so fun! My son did not want to leave and had a little bit of a hard time disconnecting but we got his re focused on the "Going into the Gingerbread House" that we got him to walk away. 

We were all excited to check out the Science of Gingerbread. Here the kids are able to select sweets to be added to crackers to build a race car to race until the wheels fall off or it gets eaten piece by piece, both of which happened to us.

                   

Hahaa! So much Fun. We also loved seeing the Science of Gingerbread - Kitchen Chemistry Learning Station, where a Scientist full of knowledge was working with baking for season treats! So very cool to see and have explained to the kids. 

A must see while at Winter Wonderfest , aside from the fun snow play, the Rocket Launch! It was our first time seeing the Rocket Launch and we all thought it was a very awesome experience. 

What I loved most? Everything - There really is something for everyone and the best part is that you can stay and play inside the Cube. I also have to give a shout out to the team, staff, volunteer students and the Cube in general since everyone was amazingly sweet, helpful and patient with my son who is on the spectrum! 

My daughter always has a great time, but when I can walk away saying my son not only had fun but was treated with patience and understanding since he lacks that, I am one pleased mama. Thank you Discovery Cube OC for that in your whole team.

helping him each step of his excited little way!

Holiday Festivities are Headed to the Discovery Cube OC with the Science of Gingerbread!

Are you ready for more fun at the Discovery Cube OC with Holiday Cheer rolled into one!?

The Science of Gingerbread returns to the Discovery Cube with multiple activities for you and your family to enjoy. There are even builders needed for the Gingerbread fun. 

We have never attended the event before but will be heading there this year! We can not wait to let you know about all the fun that the Discovery Cube has to offer this winter season.
