Big City Greens - A Must Watch Hilarious Family Friendly Show - PLUS New Musical Holiday Show Airing on Dec 7th!

Cricket and Tilly crack us up! Do you know who these two are?!

Watch Big City Greens on Disney Channel and Disney Now to find out. You will be hooked.

We were able to see a sneak peek of the super secret Musical Holiday Episode of Big City Greens!

Thank you Disney Channel for the invite to see the Holiday Musical special airing December 7th. All opinions are our own.

Have you seen the show? It's quirky and funny for all ages. I love it, my 12 yo loves it and my 7.5 yo loves it.... winning!

A simple family in the big city surrounded by time moving forward & fast.

The creators also wrote Gravity Falls, another favorite of ours. Shane and Chris Houghton are comedy and the y are brothers. Double the funny in that house growing up I am sure.

We had a lot of fun chatting with them both & learning about drawing the characters & voice over recording as they do some of the voices themselves!

Mikey & Arianna loved it & can't wait to see it air!

Honestly, I can't wait to watch it with my family too.. guys it's cute & funny!

Captivated by Aiden Sinclair on The Queen Mary - A Must See Performance of Illusion, Magic & More...

Happy Haunt Season SoCal!

Illusions, Magic & a possible spiritual connection on board The Queen Mary?!

Aiden Sinclair's "Illusions of the Passed; Legends of the Queen Mary, A Theatrical Séance!" is as captivating as it is audience interactive.

Thanks to The Queen Mary and Aiden Sinclair for having me out to opening night preview. I loved it.

My sister-in-law and I have been excited about this evening for quite some time, it was her first walk on board the historic ocean liner, the Queen Mary.

The legendary Queen Mary is going to be home on select tonight's starting Friday September 14th to this master magician and operationist named Aiden Sinclair.

We traveled back in time through all of the iconic Queen Mary legendary stories in a theatrical séance.

Loved Our Visit to Yosemite Lakes RV Resort with #GoRVing at #ThousandTrails ... We Are Ready to Go Back!

Thousand Trails at Yosemite Lakes RV Resort with #GoRVing is Just Amazing!

Thanks to GoRving we spent a phenomenal 4 day sponsored trip in a Park Model RV near Yosemite with Thousand Trails at Yosemite Lakes RV Resort!

*My review is purely my own opinion and hope it gives some insight on family travel... with and with out autism in tow.*

The Adventure...

My kids have been asking to take a trip to Yosemite for a few years, my husband has never been and I've wanted to revisit some of my childhood memories while creating new ones with my own little family!

There are so many options to staying at Yosemite Lakes RV Resort & Thousand Trails & with GoRving it was made so seamless.

I'm going to break down the RV Resort itself, camping friendly food, family friendly activities, Yosemite National Park, fishing, amenities, autism tips and more so let's get started!

There was so much to do and we really had such a great time traveling and playing while experiencing new adventures outdoors and there were 19 of us!! Yes 19 from ages 6 months to adult and every age in-between.

About 7 hours from Orange County we wanted to note that you probably want to get most of your grocery needs a few hours out and cooler them. The last main spot in Fresno area is a Wal-Mart with basic needs not a full store. Most reception is lost shortly after so load your map before this point too!

We also decided that with multi families going together we'd split up meals so that each family did pot luck style breakfast sharing and each family was responsible for one main dinner dish, a side and a dessert to compliment the other meals.

Meal planning was easy and such a great idea thanks to Mary at Let's Play OC and Angela at Queen Bee Latina! More on that below...

Let's recap the visit and hopefully give you some ideas on how to make the most of your visit when booking at a GoRving Thousand Trails location!

We Made it...

Our check in at Yosemite Lakes RV Resort was great. Check in is easy and you are provided with a gate code to come and go as you please.

A tour of the grounds can be given too and the information at front desk is handy so just ask away. Miguel (manager) and Tess (check in & ranger) are super friendly and even had dinner at our campsite one evening! It's refreshingly peaceful to feel connected to others over smores in nature.

There is a Family Center Base Camp and it's perfect for a break from the heat with access to a game room, toddler play area and lounge with light WiFi.

Oh, there is an adult only room with pool tables too. Here is a video recap of our tour.

Odysseo Gives Back for the Holidays While in SoCal #Odysseo

Odysseo Holiday Give Back - Holiday Show

Deserving Families in SoCal Experience Cavalia's Odysseo!

We love Odysseo, but when I heard that the show was putting on a Holiday performance for about 500 deserving families in SoCal, I just about cried.

I am a huge fan of this amazing show and fall even more in love with a production when as a whole they are so thrilled to do something like this and go above and beyond giving back to each city they stop in.

ODYSSEO Back by Popular Demand Returns to Irvine November 16th DISCOUNT CODE

The Beauty and Finesse of Odysseo's Performance Returns to Irvine

I can not tell you how excited I am over the return of this amazing show.

 Discount Promotions

Last time Odysseo was here in So Cal I was able to take my daughter, niece and father to see the pairing between equestrian and performers come to life.

It is hands down the most captivating performance I have ever seen. The live music is powerful to each step the horses take. The direction of movement and precise timing each rider has with their paired horse is breathtaking to see live.

This November Cavalia brings Odysseo back to Orange County for another run. The show's opening night is November 16th and with many dates already filled up, get your tickets fast, so you do not miss out.

Last week I had the opportunity to go behind the scenes and welcome not only the remaining 25 beautiful horses back from their San Diego sandy beach vacation, but I was honored to see 25 Veterans walk these large beauties down the red carpet with pride beaming all around.

Captain America Civil War - LOVED IT!

Captain America Civil War

Have you seen it yet!?

We were able to get a sneak peek at the movie a few days before the release to all theaters.

IT IS AMAZING! We loved it and still love it... we want to go see it again. Yes we are those people that see a movie a few times if we like it that much.

This one is for sure one of the best Super Hero films I have seen.

The anticipation leading up to the Civil War action is intense. Tied into all the story lines perfectly and when Spider Man is introduced in the real fun begins.

It is action packed and full of war, the type of war that divides a team into two, but brings together so much more in the end....

No Spoilers I know.. but I hope you all get a chance to see it.

Hot Tip - Check ratings and reviews but I really did not see much that I would not have let my 8yo watch... we are into this kind of movie buff fun though!

Happy Movie Going!

Bubblefest a Must See at #DiscoveryCubeOC

Bubblefest is Fun for Everyone!

Shows are happening daily at +DiscoveryCubeOC . now until April 10th.

This was our first year attending and I must say, I do not know why we have never attended before, we will be going yearly now.

This year is the 20th anniversary of Bubblefest at Discovery Cube OC. I can see why it is so much fun for everyone.

The show is amazing and so entertaining. Deni Yang is a bubble master and works these beautiful bubbled in so many creative ways. The laser show is equally entertaining and has some special effect that keep you watching.

My daughter and her friend absolutely enjoyed every moment. They had so much fun during the show and after they loved trying to put each other into large bubbles in the outdoor play area!

I am not going to lie.... I was crying the happiest of tears watching my son who is on the Autism Spectrum come to life full of emotions watching Deni do his thing! My son has behavior issues and can't sit still for very long sometimes..but...Mikey loved it so much, he was telling me about the bubbles and the show, sat and attended to the whole thing!!!! That is how captivating and entertaining it is.

The lights did not bother him but kept him attending to the show. The bubbles were all over so there is no need to try to jump over or get to a spot during the show... everyone gets hit with the fun!

I loved the show myself and all the interactive play that the kids can do after... but I will never forget my sons face and how he told me to look up and see the bubbles as he smiled so big and hugged me. Priceless moments like this make up for all the Autism challenges we have daily!

Thank you so much Deni and Discover Cube... you have no idea how much this meant to me and my kids. To see my son so alive with positive excitement was enough of a filled heart to last me years..well at least a year until Bubblefest returns! I will never miss this again. The kids loved it way too much and I love seeing them so excited about something!

I wanted to share that for sensory this is perfect. The bubbles are everywhere and the kids can pop, touch, play and that is in the show itself! It is NOT too loud where the noise bothers my son.. it was perfect.

Have you been to Bubblefest? What is your favorite thing to do or part of the show?

Interview With the Peanuts Movie Cast & What to Look out for on November 6th

Growing Up with the Peanuts Gang!

There is a new Peanuts Movie coming out on November 6th and we are so excited to see it as a family. For generations the Peanuts gang has brought my family together via comics to TV. My parents loved to sit and watch the Holiday Specials as a family during Halloween and Christmas, traditions I now have with my own family.

When we heard there was going to be a new Peanuts Movie we got extremely excited and a rush of nostalgia ran over me! There has not been a Peanuts movie since 1980 and it is so about time to bring them all back for some fun.

+The Peanuts Movie is the newest chapter to hit the big screen for the Schulz family in years but did you know that it took Craig Schulz (son of Peanuts creator Charles M. Schulz) 8 years to write the movie and Steve Martino (Director) 4 years to bring it to life. That is a lot of hard work.

A few weeks ago we found out we would be given the opportunity to interview the cast of the new Peanuts Movie! After having supreme excitement already we were just off the wall ecstatic and the questions we wanted to ask became a long list. (check out my blog post on that here)

Ready for Media Meet and Greet with the Cast of the Peanuts Movie
On Halloween we got up, got ready and rushed out to +Knott's Berry Farm where the Meet and Greet for the Peanuts Movie cast was set up inside of Camp Snoopy.
Media Check in - Notes in Hand!
The floor was set up like the walk of fame with the characters "Stars" out leading up to the Red Carpet walkway.
So cool! There was a blimp in the sky that was flying above with the Peanuts Movie image on it and everyone was eager to get back to meet the cast, director and creator.

Walking the Red Carpet to her Interviews
The setting was just perfect and as I looked at Zoe, I asked her, "Are you ready baby, you get to ask the questions" and she looked at me with the biggest eyes of excitement and said "Yes, this is my first real interview of famous actors, I'm ready".
Next up to Interview the Cast
The cast is just adorable and each actor fits their role so well. The casting that was done to select each voice was fierce and detailed so that there was a presence of old Peanuts and new to create the perfect balance for each of the Peanuts Gang friends.

We first talked with Francesca Capaldi (known for her role as Chloe in "Dog With a Blog") who voices Little Red-Haired Girl and Noah Schnapp who voices Good ol' Charlie Brown. These two are so excited about everyone seeing the movie. Zoe told them she was so excited for the movie.
Little Red Haired Girl, Charlie Brown and my Kid Reporter
She asked: "What was each of your favorite parts of the movie and are there any surprises or hints to what we should look out for in the movie about the Red Haired Girl and Charlie Brown?"

Both kids got so giddy with laughter and started telling Zoe that they could not say too much but they "share the same favorite part and something happens in the end that has never happened before."

That was enough to tell Zoe and I that we were in for some awesome surprises that I think everyone has been wondering and waiting for!

Next up we were able to talk with Hadley Miller, the voice of Lucy, known for being crabby, bossy and always humiliating Charlie Brown. Lucy is a very strong character so Zoe asked Hadley "how it felt to voice Lucy, the girl we know to wear the blue dress and take charge. Hadley said, "Lucy is such a bold girl and she is strong and likes to take charge. It was fun to bring her big voice to life."
Hadley gives Lucy her strong, bold voice.
Zoe also asked Hadley if she loved to be part of the pranks to Charlie Brown and Hadley said that one of her favorites is "when Lucy pulls the football away from Charlie Brown" classic...ours is too!

I don't think Zoe fully understood how special and just plain cool it was for her to have the opportunity to interview the cast until she stepped up to the creator himself!
Mr. Craig Schulz , Zoe and I
I saw her face just light up when I introduced her to Craig Schulz. I had told her he is the son of the main man himself that brought the Peanuts to life so many years ago.

We started to chat and we had so many questions to ask this creative mind. We told him how excited we are for the movie to come out and how much it means to our family for generations to evolve with his beloved Peanuts Gang.

Zoe asked Mr. Schulz, "How long did it take to create the movie and how many hours did it take to get it ready for the big screen?"

He looks down at Zoe and said, "It took me many years to write this one, how old are you?"

Zoe answered "I am 8."

Mr. Schulz smiles at her and chuckled a bit then leaned down and told her "Well it took me 8 years to get this movie written just right and 4 years for the director to do his part. So we just ran a marathon with it and know you will love it when you see it."

He then told Zoe, "It took over 5 million hours to complete the movie from writing, editing, creating, casting and more. So many people were involved to make is just right"

That really puts it all into perspective for someone watching the film to know how long and just how much effort was put into it!

A few fun facts about the new Peanuts Movie:
* Movie will be in 3D animation
* Charlie Brown is on a quest
* Snoopy takes to the skies to pursue his arch-nemesis, the Red Baron
* Every underdog has his day
* It's okay to express emotions, anxieties, hopes and fears with out a filter. (I love this)
* Everyone has a little Charlie Brown in them
* Charlie is smitten with love for the new girl in his class, Little Red Haired Girl
* Snoopy too, is pursuing a romance!

What a rush!! This was my daughters first time interviewing and she did great. The cast was so sweet, the Director was so thrilled to share his excitement and Mr. Schulz was as nice as he is creative. We could not have asked for a better interview experience.

Thank you to the whole cast, Director Steve, Mr. Schulz, Knott's Berry Farm and Camp Snoopy for the most awesome experience. We loved meeting each of them and are grateful for the opportunity to ask things about the new Peanuts Movie!
This by far was the best Halloween ever!

On of my most favorite quotes is by Charles M. Schulz himself...
"

See you all November 6th to catch the Beagle and his block head bestie on the big screen!
