Preview of LEGO® NINJAGO® World at LEGOLAND® California Resort LIVE Tomorrow With Autism Tips

LEGO® NINJAGO® World at LEGOLAND® California Resort Opens May 5th!

Follow along tomorrow as we get a preview of it all live from Legoland!

We will be live from LEGO® NINJAGO® World at LEGOLAND® California Resort tomorrow starting around 10am.

We are super excited to be invited to the preview and press day. I heard that we will be able to see everything that Ninjago World has to offer from the specialty eats, shopping and of course the ride in 4D!

There are so many things coming to Legoland Ca. Here are a few other hot list updates to keep an eye out for in the next year to come...

* Expansion of the Hotel - More rooms in what I hear will be a NEW BUILDING completely! (about 250 plus rooms will be added)

* More themes - with the Hotel expansion there will be a few more themes added into the mix. This will give a much more broad choice for the kids on girly, boy, or unisex themes.

* Announcement of Season Activity Dates. Special boo treats and fireworks included.

A helpful Disabilities Tip (we used this last visit to Legoland Ca for my son with Autism) -

* The Disability Assistance Pass is much like Disneyland's system. Super easy, super efficient and totally helps plan out the day since you get a return time for the next ride of choice. So... get a time for a ride, see some sights like Mini Figure Land and then go on your ride at assigned time. Want to ride more? Do the same thing all day long so that you can enjoy everything in the parks with your disabled family member too!

* All day can get overwhelming for one with Disabilities. I like knowing that the First Aid office is super friendly and willing to help all situations. There is everything that you may need for bumps and bruises and also to calm down let your sensory sensitivities take a break and be a bit more on the quiet side for a moment.

* When in doubt or need some help - Just ask. I have run into issues or situation where I have needed first aid, a little stroller help, someone to open door for me not to lose a child... the team members at Legoland CA are amazing and wiling to help with it all.

* Break time - A few good spots for a sensory break or even just to get away from it all for a moment.
** Heart Lake City Horse Stables - brush pony hair, build, make things to the horses, look in mirrors... sensory heaven.
** Next to the Granny's Apple Fries stand there is a walk way and it is usually empty expect for a few kids in the stand alone big block lego play spot. Quiet and there are benches there to take a seat too.

* Sensory Water Play - Another good way to let your little one let lose is to have them run around and play in the water area that is next to Heart Lake City. There is a splash pad area with water play hoses and water that comes up from the ground. Good way to cool off or let your over stimulated little one just get wild and wet! Separate from the Water Park that is an option too, you can add that to your daily ticket for the day as well.

* Dietary Restrictions - Legoland CA does have a variety of healthier options, foods, snacks and juices .. .but... if your have a kiddo like mine that only eats 6 or 7 things total it can be tough anyways. I love that you can bring in your own snacks and food and for someone that needs to do that for their Autistic kid, that's amazingly great!

We can not wait to head out to Legoland CA tomorrow so please follow along as we bring the New Ninjago World LIVE to you!

Check back after and catch up on our recap and review of all the fun you will have at Legoland Ca in Ninjago World after May 5th when it opens to all!

Behind the Scene Hard Hat Tour of #NinjagoWorld - Opens May 5th!

Ninjago World Opens on May 5th!

Get all the details NOW though since we were given a behind the scenes tour of the hard  hat construction area that will soon host the newest ride with the most cutting edge player participation technology!

PC LegolandCa

Are you excited yet?! I was so thrilled to be able to walk the dirt and hear the details of all the ins and outs form the master builders and creators themselves. They are even more excited to bring us this new area in +legolandcalifornia that I could not stop smiling as I listened to, and then saw, their blood sweat and hard work be brought to life!

So here is what happened on our hard hat tour...

* Behind the scene tour of the ride itself on the track
* Short clip of the 4D action that each rider will face off with
* Learned about the Triotech Technology that will make it possible to use just your hands to actually play the game with your movements!
* Will have an Asian Street food Inspired menu, It is delish and on point for the taste and flavors!

Here is some info from the press release that I want to make sure you all get to read!

Wearing a hard hat and standing on dirt as construction workers pound hammers in the background, LEGOLAND® California Resort’s General Manager Peter Ronchetti stood in front of media declaring May 5, 2016 as the opening date for LEGO® NINJAGO® World. “Years in the making, this one-acre new land features NINJAGO® The Ride which uses cutting-edge technology never used in any other theme park in North America,” said Ronchetti. He continued, “Knowing how popular NINJAGO is among our young guests, I’m excited to see them interact and engage as they train to be ninjas.”

NINJAGO The Ride enables guests to demonstrate their ninja skills by simply using their hands instead of a hand-held device. The Maestro hand gesture technology is manufactured by Triotech, the world leader in media based interactive attractions, and enables guests to throw fire balls, shock waves, ice and lightning to defeat villains. Riders collect points for their training and battle efforts throughout the ride and scores are displayed when their quest is completed. Effects such as heat, smoke and wind are incorporated throughout the adventure, giving guests the ultimate interactive 4D experience.

LEGOLAND California Resort’s Project Manager Chris Brzezicki demonstrated how the ride vehicles will glide through the ride prior to leading media along the vehicles’ route. “Every detail is designed to enhance the guest experience and immerse them into the adventure,” said Brzezicki. When referring to the theming, he stated, “The intent is to blur the line between the real physical theming and the virtual animated projection.”

Before guests board NINJAGO The Ride, they will have the opportunity to train like a ninja in four other attractions throughout NINJAGO World: Zane’s Temple Build, Kai’s Spinners, Cole’s Rock Climb and Jay’s Lightning Drill. All are designed to test guests balance, agility and speed. A new retail outlet, Wu’s Warehouse and dining option, Ninja Kitchen, featuring a special twist on Asian street food with Banh Mi sandwiches, are also new additions.

Several of the 22 new LEGO models going into NINJAGO World were also revealed today including Master Wu, ninjas Jay, Lloyd and Kai plus swords of the four elements. Other models include guardian dragons, a monastery and a 500 pound model of ninjas Nya and Zane created out of 73,600 LEGO bricks that took four Model Builders 550 hours to build. The model depicts Nya (ninja of water) hurling water at Zane (ninja of ice) who turns the water to ice in midair as part of their training.

Legoland Fun Top Tips

Legoland Tips for Lots of Super Fun!

Welcome to summer early now that the water park is OPEN and welcome to fun for everyone.

Took us about 45mins to get down and into the parking lot. Parking was $10 for general admission so we were good with that.

We met up with our girls and immediately jammed into the park to get on our first ride. We were walking past the entrance and went to the left. It's usually more crowded that way but we saw a tent up that I have never seen and went to check it out. - Quick Tip - Start out to the right of the park and work your way back around the opposite loop. Less crowded.

We made our way to Heartlake City - a total favorite of the girls. Here they watched a live show, took pics with the Lego Best Friends, Groomed Horses at the stables and even rode one on the Carousel! Best area for Lego Friends Fans!

Of course we had to head over to a special sweet treat for us moms! Hello Apple Fries my friends, I have missed you! Lets get two!
Just around the corner from our snack we were able to get the girls on the best ride in the park, I mean well it is my favorite ride, just not my day to ride it. They loved it. Their faces say it all. Love the Knight's Tournament ride!

The girls conquered all the Legoland challenges and loved the Dragon coaster and the test track. So many great rides for all ages, we were all having a blast!

It's Lego Ducks aka Ducks of Legoland

On our our way around the park my kiddo some how decided she would scratch her own hand with her own hand and a tree walking or shall I say.... running like a nut!

Off we go to first aid. Let me tell you - Legoland's first aid is amazing. They are on it. Nice, friendly and super fast with the help. Did I mention I saw an outlet and wanted to sit and charge my phone. Oh, I didn't, well that's what I wanted to do but the girls were ready for more Lego fun.

We went on the Tour boats and ran through Heartlake City once more and did a few fun "chores" in the stables. The girls were loving it so much!

It was dinner time and time to head over to Legoland's Pizaa and Pasta Buffet ! They have so many different pizza options, I had at least 3 pastas and a full salad bar with cold pasta as well. SO MUCH TO EAT and the best part..... Kids are FREE after 3pm right now for a limited time!

So much fun all day long. The day goes by way to fast. You can add water park entrance to your ticket too but we would need another day for that.... hope to return soon to splash around in the water park fun!

Top 7 tips and must do's at Legoland:

* Take advantage of the Buy a Day Get 4 free. (5 consecutive days)
All the Details HERE!

* Start on the right side.. most people go left and it is heavier traffic at the beginning of the day.

* Eat Apple Fries and Maybe Eat them once more! No Joke here!

* Add the Aquarium and or the Water Park for more fun - get more info HERE

* If you need help during your visit - send a text to (760) 203-3604

* Bring a mini figure or buy one to trade - It is like pin trading and super fun to do. What Lego friend will you be on the look out for?

* Review the height restrictions - there is a lot to do even if your under 2!

* Bring a sweater for cool fall and winter nights. Even though the water park opens up in March, the weather can be breezy and cool some days.

Lock em up - they didn't want to leave!

What we would love to check out - the LEGOLAND HOTEL . The new Lego Friends rooms will be open soon!

We were full of fun, food and laughs. It was time to head home. We had a great day - Memories that are going to last a lifetime.
